Governor George Natembeya Ranked 2nd Best Performing Governor in Kenya

 The latest Budget Controller’s report on project fund utilization has ranked Trans Nzoia County among the top-performing counties in Kenya.

According to the report:

Nandi County leads at 90%

Trans Nzoia County under Governor George Natembeya follows at 77%

Narok County scored 74%

Meru County posted 73%

This ranking positions Governor George Natembeya as the second best performing governor in the country, a recognition of his unwavering commitment to prudent resource management .

Prudent Financial Management

Ranked 2nd best in the use of project funds at 77%, showing high accountability and transparency in resource allocation.

Healthcare Expansion

Oversaw the upgrade of Kitale County Referral Hospital, including modern equipment and improved service delivery.
